Ron Paul Wins Presidential (CPAC) Conservative Political Action Conference Straw Poll for 2012
What does this say about the Monroe County Republican Party and their tactics in the 2008 election campaign and county convention? They slandered good qualified Republican candidates labeling them as Radical Libertarian Ron Paul supporters out to destroy the Republican Party! Then, at the county convention in 2008 recruited precinct delegates under questionable means including but not limited to falsifying, and notarizing of precinct delegate forms in order to retain power and purge all conservatives from the local Party. The highest ranking elected Republican official in the MCRP condoned this travesty. Activities were reported around the country of such tactics within the Republican Party therefore alienating many Conservative Republicans and in essence handing the power, control, and agenda over to the Progressive, Socialist Democrats!

Who owns the Conservative Tea Party Movement? Interesting!
There are no two conservative minds alike we are all individuals that need to unite!
“One thing that’s clear is that anyone who says that they own the tea party movement is going to get run over because no one owns the movement,” said Adam Brandon, vice president of communications for FreedomWorks. Time will tell if the Tea Party will join the million man march in the dustbin of history. It depends. Will leaders stand up? If they do stand up, will everyone follow them, or will some follow and some walk away because they don’t play well with others and have their own agendas? Will conservative principles win out over friendships and or petty disagreements to the benefit of the cause? Only time will tell!

GOP Risks Being Swept Away Unless They Adopt Tea Party Principles
Excellent article a must read! “Tea Partiers” and common citizens no matter what Party affiliation that are fiscally responsible, conservative, and liberty minded must support and get behind all candidates with the above stated principles. As a Conservative Republican for over 35 years I am appalled at what my Party has become. We as a people need to elect principled candidates as so our citizens have a true voice for “We The People” and not Party Partisan Politics. It should be what the people what not Party or Big Government. I plead to the citizenry for our children and grandchildren’s sake

Michigan Unions Want To Take Your Voice Away..
It seems the unions don’t want anyone to have an opinion, or affect public policy if it keeps them from being firmly in control as our masters. The use of government by big labor to move forward policy is hardly any breaking news, but recent power grabs in the health care, banking and major manufacturing industries are an end game policy. A policy which many Americans have stood up against particularly in 2009 with literally THOUSANDS of protests and townhall meetings. Recent reporting reveals the Anti Tea Party website “the tea party is over” is a creation of 527 group “money laundering” of union funds. Fox news reports theteapartyisover.org, a site which proclaims the tea parties are no longer relevant:

Tea Party Leaders Meet RNC’s Steele
I repeat, Tea Party Activist, Don’t date the GOP!
Some tea party activists view themselves as representatives of the Republican Party’s conservative wing, but others see Republicans as no different from Democrats – part of the hated Washington establishment. Some tea party heavies wont be there because they don’t want to engage the Republican establishment.

Michigan Senate passes legislation To Fund Pure Michigan Ad Campaign
Sen. Nancy Cassis (R-Novi), chair of the Senate Finance Committee, questioned the state essentially paying for services that the private sector should handle on its own. “The Pure Michigan campaign, no question it was very inspirational and put Michigan in the best possible light,” she said. “But whether or not it brings in anywhere near $30 or $35 million a year back in investment, that’s extremely unlikely. The state can’t continue to be a bank for the private sector.”

Bad Behavior Leaves Cox Open to Extortion
That’s not the case here in Michigan, where one of our states most famous philanderers is still taken seriously. In January, The Oakland Press named Michigan gubernatorial candidate Mike Cox one of their “Top 10 Cheaters” of the decade. In 2005, Cox held a press conference to announce that he had taken part in an extramarital affair in 2003, while serving as the states Attorney General. Cox only went public with the affair after trial lawyer Geoffrey Fieger allegedly threatened to expose it if Cox did not drop an investigation into Fieger’s alleged campaign finance violations. One can only wonder what other secrets leave Mike Cox vulnerable to extortion. Michigan Matters. Michigan deserves better.

Why Is the Fed Siding With Banks Over Taxpayers?
In perhaps the most epic lawsuit of the bailout era, the free press, led by Bloomberg L.P., has sued the Federal Reserve over its commitment to keep the bank bailout details secret. If the Fed and its bank allies win, all the bailout details will remain shrouded in secrecy.

Foreclosure Surge Expected After 15 Percent Jump from Year Ago
New data from research firm RealtyTrac shows that U.S. foreclosures reached 315,716 in January — a 10% decline from December but a 15% increase from the same time last year. And the pain is expected to continue. “If history repeats itself we will see a surge in the numbers over the next few months as lenders foreclose on delinquent loans where neither the existing loan modification programs or the new short sale and deed-in-lieu of foreclosure alternatives works,” said RealtyTrac CEO James J. Saccacio.

3,000 Banks Face Commercial Real Estate Risk
A new report from the Congressional Oversight Panel the observation that “Between 2010 and 2014, about $1.4 trillion in commercial real estate loans will reach the end of their terms. Nearly half are at present ’underwater”‘–that is, the borrower owes more than the underlying property is currently worth.” This means many of the banks which hold these loans have commercial real estate borrowers who will not be able to make interest and principal payments and cannot refinance their mortgages.

Home Affordability: Prices Are Still 40% Higher Than ‘Normal’
Despite falling real estate prices, houses still cost almost twice as much as they did in 1975 when you adjust for inflation. Relative to average income, they’re 40% higher. By many measures, houses are still unaffordable, which helps explain the current 15% vacancy rate.

The 545 People Responsible For All Of U.S. Woes
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes? If you have, then click the link below.

Foreign demand for Treasury securities falls
WASHINGTON-The government says that foreign demand for U.S. Treasury securities fell by the largest amount on record in December with China reducing its holdings by $34.2 billion. The reductions in holdings, if they continue, could force the government to make higher interest payments at a time that it is running record federal deficits. This is a direct result of to much Government spending.

Will Eurozone Debt Fears Keep U.S. Markets Sliding on Greece?
If Greece complied with the steep budget cuts tied to some sort of rescue, that would be the equivalent of the federal government slashing spending by $560 billion this year and again next year, writes Mauldin. “That would mean huge cuts in entitlements, Social Security, defense, education, wages, subsidies and on and on,” Mauldin says. “And repealing the Bush tax cuts? That would just be for starters.”

Internet Censorship Alert!
The Western world, from Australia to the United States, UK and parts of Europe, are moving in a unified front toward dictatorial Internet censorship. Australia has led the way, despite outcry from its populace, by “filtering” out certain banned content. In the United States, Sen. Jay Rockefeller, in continuing his family’s tradition of oppressing free humanity, has pushed forward already passed the House. He has done so in the name of warding off ghastly cyber “attackers” conceivably fronting for al Qaeda while ushering in a means to restrict free speech and expression online for the general population.

Take a pass on trains: Committing to rail plans would cost too much
Michigan should be grateful the federal government allocated only $244 million to the Detroit-Chicago high-speed rail corridor. If Michigan had received much more, you can be certain of two things. First, Michigan taxpayers would have to pay for those trains just about forever. Second, you and most other taxpayers would probably never ride them.

Another pay cut for you
(unless you are a government employee)
Governor Granholm has spent the past week working the media circuit trying to sell her $550 million tax increase to the public. Granholm’s proposed extension of the state sales tax to services such as hair cuts, oil changes, and carpet cleaning is equal to yet another pay cut for most every Michigan family. But Granholm’s proposed budget does include a bright spot – if you work for the state government. Unionized state employees are scheduled to receive a 3% pay increase again this year.

Feds have evidence ex-Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick took bribes
Contractor said Kilpatrick got up to $100K, his father up to $290K; Kilpatrick’s lawyer says he knows nothing of bribery accusation
A contractor who pleaded guilty in an ongoing corruption probe in Detroit has told investigators that he handed as much as $100,000 in bribes to then-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick in 2002, according to interviews and sworn documents reviewed by the Free Press. Our political system is broke and not limited to only Detroit! Don’t think for one minute it’s not happening by your elected Representatives in every county and community in Michigan. It’s happening all over our state of Michigan from the local and county level on up! Abuses of misrepresentation, and corruption by both major Party’s Democrats and Republicans alike. Campaign contributions by lobbyist and special interest groups are who they are beholding to and not the citizens who elected them as their voice!

Glenn Beck Rips Republicans at CPAC Conference
When Beck asked what America is suffering from, someone shouted “President Obama,” though Beck, an outspoken critic of the president, said it’s “not that simple.” Beck rejected the notion that the Republican Party should expand its tent to include progressives. The Republicans are trying to date Tea Partiers as to retain power! Don’t you forget who started this mess! Sarah Palin uses fear mongering with statement about don’t split the votes.
